Professional Advantage boosts business with acquisition
Purchase of Moore Stephens Technology in increases expertise in Microsoft Business Solutions range

12 September 2006 - Professional Advantage has increased its Microsoft Dynamics AX capabilities through the acquisition of Moore Stephens Technology in Brisbane, Australia. It has also led to the growth of Professional Advantage's Brisbane office to more than 30 staff.

As part of the Professional Advantage customer community, Moore Stephens Technology clients will be able to access a much wider range of solutions, services and resources in the areas of business intelligence, CRM and portal solutions. In addition, Professional Advantage's customer service programs and processes were recently recognized, with the company winning a global Microsoft Customer Care Excellence Award.

"We're excited about the team from Moore Stephens Technology joining us as it boosts our capability to service both the Microsoft Dynamics AX and Queensland markets. It also enables some excellent solutions that the Moore Stephens Technology team has developed around the financial services and food and beverage industries to be taken nationally," said Derek Rippingale, joint managing director, Professional Advantage.

This deal follows on the heels of Professional Advantage's acquisition of System 77 in July 2006. "The combination of Microsoft's increased strategic focus around business solutions and our strong position in the mid market is driving a target of 50% growth in our business this year. Complimentary acquisitions are another key part of our growth plans, with System 77 clients embarking on migration to Microsoft Dynamics and the Moore Stephens Technology team providing additional in-demand skills to support this process," concluded Rippingale.
