RETAIL ANALYTICS
Retail Analytics for Microsoft RMS is designed to help retailers manage their business by delivering analytical reporting on business performance. Easily identify trends, buying patterns, seasonality, and other key performance indicators for your business.
If you enter it in RMS you can report on it in Retail Analytics. A few examples of measures our customers analyze include:
Those measures can then be viewed and compared by different dimensions such as:
You can easily drag and drop the fields into an Excel Pivot Table or use graphical analysis. There are a huge number of potential combinations including:
You can also use multiple combinations to analyze things such as comparing revenue this year vs. last year in a line graph with the ability to restrict by Store, Supplier, Department, Item, etc.
Retail Analytics is so powerful and easy to use that if you are a current RMS customer using HQ we will give you a demonstration on your live data FREE! Contact us at profad@profad.com to arrange your live data demonstration.
Retail Analytics can also be extended with an optional Merchandise Planning module for those organizations that want to further automate their purchasing process. Retail Analytics with Merchandise Planning (RAMP) delivers the information required to analyze and effectively manage the inventory and buying processes. The system suggests store transfers and purchase orders that can be analyzed and fine-tuned by the buyer. Once the buyer approves these activities they are generated as transactions in the Microsoft Retail Management System.
Customers using RAMP achieve optimizations of current inventory availability as the solution utilizes slow moving inventory from other stores prior to purchasing additional stock from the vendor. Buying Managers also achieve greater control of buyers' spending budgets.
RAMP delivers benefits including:
. Reduction of effort required in gathering necessary business information
to effectively manage the business
. Increased revenue by more effective buying ensuring that merchandise
are in the store when required i.e. no 'stock outs'
. Reduced costs due to implementation of buying controls
. Increased profits by optimizing current inventory and reducing costs
Retailers operating disparate systems with poor or no integration between them are hampered by limited visibility of their entire business. RMS ConnectPro has been designed to help the users of the Microsoft Retail Management System (RMS) and Dynamics GP ( Great Plains ) to overcome this issue by providing a detailed and reliable integration between the two systems. It allows for automatic communication flow between the stores, Headquarters and finance department, along with accurate information on inventory, purchasing, sales and banking available throughout the organization.
Choose the right tool for the right job
Retailing businesses have diverse requirements. For example, retailers that have central warehouse distribution centers, wholesale businesses, telephone/mail order centers or online retail websites can use Great Plains to meet their needs for comprehensive order fulfillment and stock control. The traditional POS retail stores can use RMS. RMS ConnectPro gives you the power to choose.
