Accounting Systems Consultant

Professional Responsibilities:

  • Develop and demonstrate strong Microsoft Dynamics product skills.
  • Develop and demonstrate strong functional skills in areas affected by our applications (e.g., accounting, sales force automation, Customer Service).
  • Have an interest in emerging cloud technologies like Microsoft 365 and Azure
  • Demonstrate ability to perform requirements definition tasks, develop design specification documents and also perform tasks such as configuration, testing, data manipulation and documentation.
  • Demonstrate strong problem solving skills and an ability to resolve application issues.
  • Develop basic understanding client infrastructure and associated concepts and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Develop basic understanding of project methodology. Ability to apply consulting methodologies in project situations as required.
  • Focuses on developing accurate task estimating skills, producing quality deliverables, and completing assigned tasks within the given budget.
  • Develop a working knowledge software implementation issues and also develop a basic understanding of industry issues.
  • Where appropriate, undertake delivery of product training in a classroom or on-site setting.
  • Maintains a respectable level of chargeable hours per week over any given quarter
  • Travel to customer sites will be required for portions of projects

Educational Background:

Technical Project Manager

Are you looking to join a focused and dynamic consulting team, and want to have a varied role with plenty of responsibility? We have a need for an accomplished project manager with great people and organizational skills.

Working with teams both in-person and remotely, you will be expert at building trust and meaningful relationships with colleagues and clients across North America.

This client facing role demands you work on multiple projects simultaneously. You will be detailed-orientated but with a big-picture outlook. Previous experience with projects that implemented ERP or CRM systems is a requirement.

You will be a self-starting individual who can motivate others, with an ability to give and receive feedback constructively. Continuous learning and an ability to drive positive change are key to being successful in the role.

To succeed in this role you will clearly demonstrate passion, confidence and integrity and possess the following attributes:

  • Superb command of written and spoken English
  • A strong, yet personable disposition
  • An ability to manage multiple IT projects
  • An understanding of ERP and/or CRM

Microsoft Dynamics GP Consultant

Professional Advantage is currently seeking a skilled Microsoft Dynamics GP consultant to join our team. We are looking for someone who shares our passion for implementing, customizing and supporting high quality business solutions for our clients. This is a senior billable role that is responsible for developing and delivering high-quality GP technical/business solutions to our industry-specific client base.

You will ideally have previous experience working for a Microsoft Partner (either VAR or ISV) or at a Microsoft Dynamics customer

Professional Responsibilities:

  • Develop and demonstrate strong Microsoft Dynamics GP skills.
  • Develop and demonstrate strong functional skills in areas affected financials, timesheets, payroll, project costing
  • Demonstrate ability to gather requirements, develop design specification documents and perform tasks such as configuration, testing, data manipulation and documentation.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and an ability to resolve application issues.
  • Develop a basic understanding of Microsoft SQL Server databases and queries
  • Be fluent with multiple deployment platforms: on-Premise, Azure, etc
  • Where appropriate, undertake delivery of product training in a classroom or on-site setting.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 25%-50% of the time.
